Bringing Free Healthcare to Iware, Oyo State Gracedcircle Health Initiatives is planning another Free Medical Outreach in Iware, a rural community in Afijio Local Government Area. Iware has an estimated population of about 190,000 people, yet the community does not have any secondary healthcare facility. The only available health center is a Model Primary Health Center with about six beds, and many residents have never accessed even this basic level of care. As a result, preventable and manageable chronic illnesses continue to cause unnecessary suffering and deaths. Our outreach aims to change this. Our team of healthcare professionals will provide: • Free health education
• Free health screening for chronic diseases such as hypertension and diabetes
• Malaria testing (malaria remains endemic in this region)
• Medical consultations with experienced physicians
• Referrals for patients requiring advanced care

UPDATE OF THE JAMB/UTME Initiative I’ve been thinking of an organized and coordinated approach that ensures structure and helps filter out scam and fake requests. I’ve spoken to someone here and am awaiting a response. Meanwhile, here’s the plan for now: I intend to roll out a Google Form. This way, people not on X can also benefit, though I intend to prioritize those on X. The form will request: - Name (as you want it to appear) - Proof of O’Level - Profile code (which should have been generated before filling the form) . This will be used in the purchase of the E-pin - Why you think you need this.. I sincerely hope those selected will be people with genuine need and financial constraint. In addition, money for purchasing the UTME will not be transferred to individuals. Instead, we will use volunteer vendors on the timeline to purchase the e-pin. Note that only the e-pin will be provided. Individuals will be responsible for going to a CBT centre to complete registration. I was told one don’t need to pay any money to register at CBT. I will appreciate if someone can please help confirm this. I’m also open to suggestions and ideas on how to make this effective and smooth. Thank you everyone.

I had a Similar experience I went to a wedding ceremony with a friend of mine. This friend had travelled to visit me for some days, coincidentally, another friend of mine in the city was getting married, I was going and he decided to tag along. We didn’t know what the venue will look like and it wasn’t winter. So I dressed ‘cute’ in a dress. My then friend wore a shirt and a jacket on it. When we got to the venue, it was a beach wedding, open space in the middle of no where with crazy wind and cold. I was crazily cold, my friend too was cold. He removed his jacket and gave it to me. He was shivering with catarrh coming out of his nose. I told him to have his jacket back that I’ll be fine, I even offered that we can wear it in turns. “I can wear it for like 10 mins, get warm a bit and hand it over to him” He turned down the offer. He told me to just have it and stay warm. Having a Kind partner should be non-negotiable! Then and there, I knew I will marry him. He’s My Husband.
