Sad news out of Winter Springs, made the Bears into state title contenders.

It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of former head coach, Mark Huaman. Coach Huaman will never be forgotten for his unselfish leadership and friendship to all he came in contact with. Rest In Peace Coach Huaman 💜

Congrats to Ciatrick Fason. C4 confirmed he is the new head football coach at Fletcher High, his alma mater. He replaces Bobby Raulerson. Fason has been active in the area for years working with youth in various capacities. @DuvalSports 1st to report that news.

To those complaining about all state teams, batting average is just one component of it. Had a kid hit .880, yet little RBI and doubles, triples and Home Runs. Didn’t make all state even as honorable mention.

Okay I’m asking for feedback, be polite and respectful. How can I do better ? I asked repeatedly since May for coaches nominations and only 20 of 545 responses back. I looked up stats for every playoff team in each class and some non playoff teams.

I have done all state volleyball before many years ago, but softball was definitely a lot more challenging to say the least. Looking forward to February.
