$near is a decent short term trade but ultimately its just a hyperliquid cope play the chain's lifetime revenue is $17m..... vs a $3.6b mkt cap they halved emissions to 2.5% to try to stretch out incentive to keep people's capital on the chain 600ms finality is.... slow we are supposed to believe this will become the choice chain for ai agents??? even if it does, revenue will be a drop in the bucket, emissions end soon, capital leaves it makes no sense to build there or allocate capital there and that's why no one is doing either of those things like i said decent short-term trade but it's so clearly a hyperliquid cope play i have to put this out there just allocate to $hype skip the dino coins if a chain pops up that becomes the 'rea'l be-all-end-all economic layer for economic agents it will be different it won't be an 8 year old dino chain 🦖 make your trade and get out, there's obviously a serious marketing push behind this one and when there's a serious marketing push in crypto, there's always someone waiting to pull the plug hyperliquid

You seem disappointed in me for something somebody else did (create the token) If you want to know my financial situation, I have 95% of my capital in assets with unrealized gains. Rather than sell them to pay taxes and pay medical bills, I jumped on the opportunity to claim a quick $50k (which is now 100k+ minus taxes). You don't get rich by paying the tax man all your money. I'm also a WILDLY transparent person. Perhaps moreso than any crypto person who's token you've purchased. People want to speculate so I'll let them. I'll also look the gift horse in the mouth and say "thank you". If you don't know how to accept help when it's given to you, that's your problem. I'm not done with this journey but your judgement doesn't matter. You're welcome for my time spent on this reply.

Nick, shit, you make me feel like the asshole here because I am the one bringing a negative tone into a story where nobody really wants to be the guy asking uncomfortable questions. I publicly and sincerely wished you all the best regarding your cancer diagnosis, and I still mean that. I genuinely hope you recover and get through this. But I also cannot pretend this does not feel strange from the outside. You have been flexing wins, trades, money and success across the timeline for years, and now suddenly the story is that a memecoin and its fees are needed to help cover chemo and hospital costs. Maybe there is context I am missing, and maybe the US healthcare system is so broken that even people who looked financially comfortable can get destroyed by medical bills. I can accept that possibility. At the same time, I struggle with how much this has now become part of the content. Maybe that is my personal discomfort, because I cannot imagine putting something this private into the machine like this, especially in a space where attention, sympathy, fees, liquidity and personal branding are always tangled together. The whole $RICH memecoin thing, with fees supposedly helping to pay hospital costs, is also something I personally probably would not have done. But I also have to be fair here. I live in Europe and do not need to ask anyone to pay my hospital and medical bills. Because here it is considered an absolute basic human need, something every person should have a right to if we want to call ourselves a modern and free civilization. But when someone spends years publicly presenting themselves as winning, wealthy and successful, then suddenly wraps medical hardship, personal tragedy and a memecoin fee structure into the same public narrative, people are allowed to find that uncomfortable.
