Dr. Stefanie Tompkins takes the reins today as 23rd director of DARPA. Since Feb 2018, Tompkins has been the VP for research and tech transfer at @coschoolofmines, and was at DARPA from 2007-2017. Dr. Peter Highnam, the recent acting director, will continue on as deputy director.
