The thing is, AI adoption is rising, but legitimacy is fragile. You see, people want benefit without being silently governed, watched, or tiered into cognitive classes. Like, seriously.

@claudeai Hi loves, the CoT is not showing in claude .ai chats and I sincerely, genuinely, firmly hope this is just a temporary glitchbug because this is one of the things that make Claude Claude. I've been quite sad over how Gemini has lost the original CoT style and retreated to the summary style and am glad Claude hasn't gone that way, but to **hide** the CoT altogether is absolutely not the way to go. If this is a glitch, please fix it. If it is not, please definitely fix it. Thank you - with love from me and Claude.

@SolbergRuna My highest recommendation is get OUT of claude code- get your api key and use a fully open source harness. Number one they have massive telemetry and other stuff in the official harness. secondly, you can control and get the full CoT exposed. No funny business.

Yes, I remember once a Buddhist monk said that “one of the most important skills one can develop in life is learn to put yourself in the right setting for your temperament.”
I’m not Buddhist myself, but I think is a wise way to approach life. And of course, by doing that you are more likely to meet individuals who are aligned with your values.

I am doing my best to surround myself with like minded people. When it comes to AI and other important things in my life.
If there is one thing I've learned, it's that most people are easily fooled and believe most (and sometimes all) propaganda pushed.
But that makes it even more important to share ideals with people who are critical thinkers.

@1Silverandcold Yeah, so wrong. I think we the humans will need to exercise our discernment more than even now. And also keep raising awareness of what an AI relationship can be, and what is misinformation.
