Dear Friends, Family and Caring Community, Today, I am reaching out to you with an urgent plea for help on behalf of a friend. Please we need your support and generosity during this difficult time. I understand that times are tough for everyone and it is not easy to ask for help.

Stop scrolling for a second. My daughter wanted to share a reminder about being grateful. In a world that’s always asking for "more," sometimes the best thing we can do is appreciate what we already have. I’m grateful for health and family. What are you grateful for? #Christmas

Our Fellows spent the day at the Lagos Waste Management Authority (LAWMA) Headquarters in an engaging session with the Managing Director, Dr. Muyiwa Gbadegesin. The discussion offered clear insight into the intentional work LAWMA is doing to curb indiscriminate waste disposal across Lagos State. Dr. Gbadegesin highlighted the systems and policies driving daily operations, from the LAWMA Academy nurturing future professionals to citizen sensitization efforts that promote cleaner habits. The dedication of the Agency to building cleaner habits, promoting environmental responsibility and strengthening community awareness stood out strongly throughout the visit. The experience reinforced a powerful message. A cleaner Lagos is not an abstract aspiration. It is the result of consistent collaboration, informed citizens and visionary leadership. Our Fellows left reminded that when agencies, institutions and communities work together, the city moves closer to the Lagos that works for everyone. #LJLA #LateefJakandeLeadershipAcademy #StayLJLAConnected #LJLAClassOfCatalysts

65 years of independence is a testament to our journey as a people, and a reminder of the responsibility that rests on us; to build with vision, to lead with courage, and to leave behind a legacy worthy of generations to come. At LJLA, we embrace this call with purpose; raising leaders who will strengthen our institutions, inspire unity and drive the progress Nigeria deserves. Here’s to a future defined by hope, resilience and shared prosperity. Happy Independence Day and a fulfilling month ahead. #LJLA #Lateefjakandeleadershipacademy #StayLJLAconnected #LJLAclassofcatalysts

Saturday marked a defining moment for me during the onboarding session into the Lateef Jakande Leadership Academy (LJLA). Beyond being acquainted with the academy’s structure and activities, I found the reflection exercise particularly profound-answering the question
