Listed a couple today, getting me down to 20 pairs. I’ve realized there’s a difference between pairs that “you want” vs “you want and will actually wear”

Seeing this being freed up some is a breath of fresh air

@colby_rolfe I’d say this: whichever pairs you’re definitely getting rid of, list them in small amounts at a time, like 5 a most. The small build definitely helped me Now if you’re unsure which pairs to offload, that’s different

@NineTwentyWon It just gets to a point. Even at 25 pairs now, part of me still wants to minimize just a little more. It’s definitely a freeing feeling

@SolelyCD I had around 80 before and I woke up one day and just felt like an idiot. Not even cause my interest changed but I realized how unnecessary it was and like you said, how overwhelming it is to have all those damn boxes too.

The most amount of sneakers I’ve had at once was around 50 and felt super overwhelming. I genuinely don’t know how people do 100+

@SolelyCD The “sneaker game” portion is def too much. Constant releases. Shifting into just minimizing and enjoying what I currently have and also unplugging from the constant cycle of releases week after week.

@Retro_Fever Sometimes you can appreciate the story and not the product, but that’s me personally.

@SolelyCD Currently sitting in the 290s right now.. sometimes you think about offloading them all in one shot but the story of getting each pair keeps me from doing that.

I’m just a different breed I guess. I navigate to create & share that sentiment with like-minded people. The extra stuff can be left at the door.

Constantly keeping up with releases, the continuous politics/bickering in the space. I’m good off that. Especially the politics, been off that since day one.

@Craignoicecube To be fully transparent, I’m fortunate enough to have a job where I capture a variety of stuff regularly. I mainly shoot sports action, but that’s not all I shoot. Product photography is one of those things, why not shift focus energy to that more importantly?
