@Harlack Even for a non-alcoholic teetotaler getting constantly asked why I don't drink is a large part of why I don't go to pubs and such any more. People love to make it the theme, find out if I have a history, etc...

One of the harder things I've noticed is bringing it up in real life(no, Twitter is not real life!). If you're out with people drinking... someone will eventually ask "Hey, why aren't you drinking?" Which is just the worst... don't do that.

@Pedguin It seems the problem has been the quick change between languages and how they handled it. I've known several that have rented the film and just felt that "OK, I've paid for this, let me find subtitles from other places and the correct files to put the subtitles on". IE: Hassle.

@gemothy Oh, my cat get's quite insistent if I spend too much time in front of a computer. Not only getting up in my face, but meowing to get me to go into a different room. Moo might be suggesting the same thing. "Away from ye computer, plz?"

working today and moo is helping. in first pic she lay on my arm (couldn’t type) in second pic she turned off my pc with her foot (couldn’t do anything at all)

@alsmiffy This tends to be because he is due a shedding. If he keeps doing it even after shedding or no shedding is happening, you could check to see if he has inflammation in his mouth and similar, but you shouldn't get too worried.

I’ve never seen Randy do this before. Happened just after being fed a couple nutrobal dusted mealworms. He seemed distressed. Gave him some water incase something was in his mouth or blocked. He’s fine now. Anyone know if this behaviour is something to worry about? #leopardgecko

@boba_witch In my country politics used to reflect the voice of the people, now it feels like it's the opposite. Opinions have become hard (overly solid) and people follow it like gospel, ready to crusade.

politics isnt about doing what's right anymore. it's about winning. it's turned into a viscous and nasty sport. it's about 'pwning the libs' and that sort of rhetoric. and honestly i think it'd be better we do away with divisive party vs party, because lines should be blurred.

@boba_witch Acid rain was so hammered in to us in school as this big apocalyptic thing. In 3rd grade we were basically thought it was the fault of the British, being shown smokestacks & such. "Look at these plumes, now you can't drink riverwater, and all fish will die, and then birds die.."

Especially in the early to mid '90s, so aspirations, for a lot of younger people, were, "the real wrestling, not the cartoon wrestling". To some, WWF was seen as quite ridiculous.
