⚛️In superconductors a current can flow without any resistance, something amazing but that also makes it difficult to control such current at will. In their last paper, researchers from Ali’s Lab discover a device that allows superconducting currents to flow just in one direction!

In a first part of his talk he will briefly discuss how, using the concepts of topology, symmetry, and an understanding of crystal and electronic structures, several quantum materials were discovered, what their important properties are, and how they were characterized.
