We need a completely new ranked system
- No performance based MMR past GM
- No more than 2 sub tiers apart in skill level
- Extremely harsh penalties for throwers

There has been a lot of discussion about SDS "manipulating" OVRs in MLB The Show; using hidden stats like Discipline and Durability to inflate ratings, or questioning why a card is a certain overall.
I've been running numbers on this game for a long time. Here is what they say:

No way… we exposed that they still use discipline & durability to affect overalls after they said they are no longer a thing & now they removed that from the app so we can’t see it anymore 😂

@TBowls4Tony @kneand_ Yeah notice that the year they add 4 new attributes. We have a record number of cards that make you wonder how are they that overall? Even the 95 Santana is kinda mid

@SolidT0ast @kneand_ If they can nerf a card, inflate the overall artificially, then that leaves them more room and time for the power creep, which causes more hype for the future drops.
All the overalls are inflated at the start of the year minus a few cards. Here’s a 93 overall from last year…
