We’re ready to break ground on the playground at Senda 2! Play is a human right recognized by the UN & is essential for children's health. The need for a playground speaks for itself in these images. A huge thank you to @gdirc_ for helping us to finalise the playground plans.

With just a Wi-Fi-capable device, users can access educational content, including videos, interactive games, experiments, books, tests & more. This project will connect #refugees in remote & low-resource settings to teachers & higher education. See the prototyping in action!

Displacement causes a massive disruption to kids' access to #education. To address this, over the past year, our engineers have been working on developing the “SolidarityPi” - a remote learning device that uses #RaspberryPi technology to bring education to refugee camps.

heat wave🔥 + water shortage🚱 = public health crisis🚨 This sign shows the limited hours that showers are open at Senda de Vida, a shelter housing around 2,000 asylum-seekers. Water is a large part of our services and, especially in these conditions, water is life.

Pastor Hector opened his church doors to asylum seekers in 1999. In 2021 migration to Reynosa skyrocketed & he expanded the capacity of his shelter from 200 to 1700 This @Newsy clip was shot in May, yet so much has already changed, reflecting the unpredictable nature of our work
