He found himself feeling quite relaxed. As he reached for his glass his eyelids drooped for a moment.

“Oh no offence, I have no clue why they focus so much of their attention here. Frankly, It’s quite puzzling.” Perhaps he’d know why if he talked to any of them, but he wouldn’t have the time for that. He took another sip of his drink. Perhaps it’s the people who live here?

The King chuckled as he reached for his glass, it was empty but he just refilled it with whatever was in it last time, he didn’t really have to know the name to do that. “Oh no, I don’t mind it. What do you put up with, pray tell.”

“Look into what? Time?”
He held back the surprising temptation to chuckle and instead turned his attention to the King’s second comment.
“Tell me, what were *you* doing before you had responsibilities?”

“Hmm well, I didn’t really think to look into it.” He shrugged, he had looked into it but he figured it would be fun to play coy. “Oh, I remember before I had responsibilities! It was so fun!”

The King watched as Solomon finished his drink, he wondered if he should also be finished by now. “Oh really? You don’t seem like the type.” He raised an eyebrow as he tried to nonchalantly finish his drink, despite the horrid taste. “But I suppose time does change people.”
