You feel the 400 can buy you tea or fuel, so let's do it. She gets into the car and off you go. On reaching Nairobi, you ask for the 400 and she tells you 'nipatie 10k yangu!' Imagine that. From the blue! You try to talk and she asks "unataka nipige nduru?" You are in CBD. She's already trying to create noise inside the car. She threatens to shout that you've slept with her and now you are refusing to pay her 10k as agreed. Knowing Nairobi, guy decided to channel the money. From what the guy told me, this lady had connections in town. It seemed this is something she has done before. Imagine getting beaten in the middle of Nairobi for such a thing. Even if you tell your wife the lady is lying, convincing her will be an uphill task. Someone is currently in prison for a related case. This one decided to lock the doors, drive out of town. He beat the lady up till she got unconscious. Crime? Abduction, assault with intent to kill.
