Yesterday we announced a major milestone and a fulfilment of a key promise: Jersey City has secured funding for over 700 summer jobs for our youth. The new jobs are all funded through grants and philanthropy. To our youth: we see your potential and we will ensure you reach it.

Hey all, it’s been over 2 months since we received any pieces of personal mails @ home from the @USPS’ Journal Square Station @ 899 Bergen Ave, @JerseyCity, @NJGov 07306. We keep Informed Delivery notifications turned on so we can track every incoming envelopes/packages, we’ve our names & apartment number plastered on our mailbox yet we haven’t seen or received a single thing in over 2 months from them. We’ve visited the post office many times, we’ve opened many service requests through @USPSHelp with the most recent 1 being: #87555249 as we’re desperately seeking answers, but absolutely nothing has been done to fix our problem. We’re also aware of other neighbors missing their mail for even longer periods of time, who’ve reported the same frustrating issue with no resolution. 1 worker mentioned the manager’s name’s Tahita or Tajita, but she & the regular mail carrier are never there when we need to speak to them. Please check their online reviews as it’s clearly 1 of the worst post offices in the country. We’re still waiting on very important personal mails & have no idea where they’re now. They always have ridiculously long lines, not enough workers, terrible customer service, & lots of bad attitude with outright impoliteness. Please properly investigate this place.
