I just read that Claire Keegan wrote 50 drafts of Small Things Like These. Good writing takes time. And work.

The work doesn't end when the manuscript is accepted. Much is still to be done to bring "The Blackbird Ballad" into being. However, all of this work is coming together into something I'm very proud of. Coming in the Spring of 2026!
