I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels...nor things present, nor things to come, nor internet pressure shall separate me from the love of Christ

Listened to Mr Godson Ugochukwu SAN, orally submit in court today for the first time and was absolutely enamored. Fine oratory, woven neatly with literature and law– the type that commands your attention and compels your discretion. Simply brilliant!🤗💪

3. Endeavour as much as possible to ask short and concise questions. This makes it direct and elicits a better response for you. 4. Make sure your questions come with clarity to both the witness and the court. Long-winded questions and grammar obfuscate the point. #disputes

2. Research the principles of law before preparing your questions. Your question should be showing how from the facts, the case has satisfied or failed to satisfy the applicable principles of law. If you don't know the principles, your questions will be flying unguided.

If I may say something about Pastor Kingsley Okonkwo getting a tattoo: First, I do not think tattoos can be biblically declared a sin. Many are quoting Leviticus 19, yet that same chapter also says: “Do not plant your field with two kinds of seed.” “Do not wear clothing woven of two kinds of material.” We cannot selectively obey the Law if we choose to appeal to it. We can only obey all of the law at all times. We can't obey all at select times, or some at all times. The penalty for that is sin. And Christ paid it when He hung on the tree, dead, giving us liberty from this law. So, if tattoos are condemned on this basis, then many pastors with afros stand guilty, since the same chapter says: “Do not cut the hair at the sides of your head or clip off the edges of your beard. Any pastor who has worn jeans and a T-shirt also stands judged. I am saying we really can't judge using this basis. So how should we view Pastor Kingsley getting a tattoo? Recall my opinion on why Pastor Adeboye would not drink alcohol, even though Scripture does not call it sin unless it leads to drunkenness. Culture and the conscience of weaker believers restrain certain liberties, especially for ministers. That is what is at play here. Something being lawful does not make it expedient. Paul had the right, as an apostle, to be financially supported by the church, yet he waived that right for the sake of the gospel. “I have made no use of any of these rights… that I may present the gospel free of charge.” (1 Corinthians 9:12–18) Paul also said that if eating meat would wound a brother’s conscience, he would never eat meat again, for the sake of the one Christ died for. “Therefore, if food makes my brother stumble, I will never eat meat.” (1 Corinthians 8:13) The tattoo issue has gone viral and drawn mixed reactions. In the end, I do not think it advances the gospel in any way. God forbid that I dictate how another man should live. However, publicly glamourising the tattoo by posting the whole process only intensified an already volatile situation. This is my opinion. I may be wrong. The body of Christ has many liberties, but we must learn to bear the burden of not expressing them all— not because they are forbidden, but because of the gospel. In Western cultures this may not be controversial, but in ours, while not sinful, it is contentious for clergy. Personally, I would rather bear the burden of not getting a beloved tattoo if it helps the sheep of the Lord and preserves the image of His Church, both of which Christ suffered to purchase. I will gladly suffer that restraint with Him. Afterall, the Bible says: “For it has been granted to you not only to believe in Christ, but also to suffer for His sake.” (Philippians 1:29)

If Service is the motive Turning the Tide in Four Years is Possible I still find it baffling that my decision to do a term of four years, if given the mandate to rule this country, is generating so much agitation. By this feeling, we are doubting the fact that a sincere leader can achieve much in 48 months. I have never been desperate in the pursuit of power, or anything else, for that matter. There are some traits associated with desperation, which in no way are in any of my political behaviours in the past and now, like engaging in overly aggressive rhetoric or actions to prove a point or gain attention; becoming overly defensive or reactive to criticism, often to the point of appearing paranoid. Making unrealistic or unfulfillable promises to win support or approval, resorting to personal attacks or character assassination to discredit opponents or frequently changing positions or policies to suit immediate political needs. What drives me is not personal ambition, but a deep, commitment to see Nigeria work. And if the sacrifice required of me is four years of sincere, accountable leadership, so be it. Throughout my political journey, I have never been involved in thuggery, the snatching of ballot boxes, or any form of electoral malpractice. I challenge anyone: conduct your investigations. You will find no stains of rigging or violence associated with my name. I have always chosen the path of peace, principle, and civility. Ask those who have contested against me—none were ever denied their rights, framed, or falsely accused. None was asked to place their advert materials or break the bank to do so. I believe in fair competition, not manufactured victories. In four years we can confront corruption head-on, redirecting resources to priority areas. For instance, the trillions used to acquire new presidential jets and other unnecessary expenses at this time could have been channelled into education, healthcare, or infrastructure. Within the same period, we ensure that the rule is sacrosanct and the rule of law is strictly followed. Within the same period, we can conduct free, fair and credible elections Leadership, to me, is not about entitlement. It is about service. If given the mandate, for just one term, I will dedicate every moment to building a Nigeria that works for all. -PO

The Supreme Court has decided to go to slumber on the suit filed by PDP Governors against the President on the declaration of State of Emergency in Rivers State. Few weeks after Fubara is returned, the same court will declare the suit an academic exercise. This is embarrassing.

The greatest proofs of power aren’t people falling down (this happens), but men saved, lives transformed and hearts turned to righteousness. When people always fall in church but never rise up to greater devotion and responsibility, that can be mistaken for theatrics.

Something shifted in me after listening to Apostle Gideon’s session at the conference last week. Yesterday, I was so tired and sleepy—I didn’t feel like praying. But because of what I heard during that session, I said to myself, “Nothing will stop me.” Apostle Gideon kept repeating this line: “Elijah prayed again. You, too, pray again.” That was God's emphasis through him. His exegesis on prayer was so deep, I don't even know if I can capture it all here. But I took away three life-altering truths: God is a prayer-answering God. We must be a prayer-making people. God supplies only to those who seek and ask. Elijah was an ordinary man—just like us. What made him different? He prayed again. That phrase stuck with me: “Prayed again.” Since then, I don't really have a set "prayer time" anymore—I’m always praying. I prayed until 12:30 a.m. yesterday. Even on my bed, I was praying in tongues after. When the bandit Surulere mosquitoes woke me in the middle of the night, I kept praying in tongues. This morning, I woke up praying. From CMS to Ikoyi, I was still praying in tongues. I’m always praying—because this is how we stay connected to the God who’s on the other side of prayer, the One who supplies power, grace, wisdom, and everything we need to be like His Son. Keep praying, okay? Amen.
