In the comics, Symbiote imitated a fabric that resembles a rubber. Peter wore this suit because it looked like just a suit with special abilities and because it responded to his commands. @ZachInsomnia it's stll way more engaging and interesting than sonic 2 though. it isn't as complex and amazing as my beloved sonic cd or the advence/rush games and it's levels are very insonsistent and sometimes very binary, but it's still really fun and amazing to play and replay.

Sonic 3 may be a good game but it honestly has some of the WORST replay value in the classics with the lowest skill ceiling out of them all
