As plans are made for the closure of the Guild gallery in Wells, we are pleased to report that the Master's Chair, Master's Board and Gavel have found a new home at Pylle Church. Thank you to those involved in preserving this small piece of history for safekeeping.

Stunning new work in the Somerset Craft Guild gallery from Carole Lockwood. These fold-formed leaf earrings have been folded and hammered and then given life by sympathetically manipulating the shape to give a natural flow, emulating the leaves Carole sees in her garden.

Amazing work from Guild member David M Brown - this polyhedral sundial has 25 visible faces (the shape is called a rhombicuboctahedron!) and David has made about 10 of these over the years. They are usually commissioned to celebrate a special birthday or anniversary.

Another fabulous piece of work from textile artist Meriel Lee currently on display in the Somerset Craft Guild. This is one of six strongly coloured bowls constructed from hand picked threads, stitched, with copper foil detail within. Visit the gallery - open Mon-Sat 10-4.
