@bogiperson @RoseLemberg Yep I get ya. I welcome diversity and usually try to stay away from people that complain. We're all special snowflakes, right? ;) Maybe it's a branding thing? Weak branding then, I would say, if one relays on intersectionality alone.

Bogi Takács: POWER TO YIELD & OTHER STORIES Nov 7!
When writers in my very specific ethnic, gender, etc. groups go to great lengths to point out that they are the ONLY writer in that demographic... Even if you don't know anyone else, maybe try to find them? Maybe they are new and you can encourage them? I find ppl all the time.

@theivanwoodruff @T_clark10 @_ParkerH Exactly. It has nothing do to with Safety lol its called olfactory adaptation. The process of smelling is taxing on our brain nerves/sensors and so our brain goes numb to the scents after awhile so they can focus on new things.

familiar sweet fragrance I sense in its presence is, in actuality, a chemical alteration between my olfactory nerve endings that recalls past encounters with roses from my memory

My cousin said she could heal me with energies and crystals, but don't think she liked me calling her Chakra Khan.
