Listen I hate blue but this is forgetting the source material. Bergamo literally made the rule of that match that if Goku held back, Zeno would erase him. You can say thats the plot forcing Goku to use Blue but this is also in character for Bergamo to do given his gimmick.

Did we need to use Blue for this? This arc is where the overuse of Blue problem really starts. Before this theyโve used Blue the most but itโs been against opponents that necessitated it akin to SS1 being used so much in the Cell arc. Here thatโs just not true.
