I am currently in the process of redesigning the interface to be simpler, with more focus on the most important elements of software engineering in modern agentic workflows: * agent / director sessions * kanban / task list * diff review * merge requests / PRs * CI/CD * terminal tabs * app preview * automations (workflows) The rest of the functionality such as documents, messages, plans, code editor, metrics, and configuration will still be available, but less prevalent. Ultimately, the new UI/UX should be easier to jump into to start getting work done for all software engineers, while supporting all elements of modern development. I'm thinking of it as a next-gen IDE, with a focus on the whole SDLC and much less of a focus on writing code. Will update here when it's ready.

I’m building InkLoom because I think most docs tools over-focus on publishing. Publishing isn’t the hard part. The hard part is keeping documentation accurate after the product changes, the team grows, and the real context gets scattered across Slack, tickets, PRs, and people’s memory. That’s where docs usually break and stop being useful. Not at creation. It happens a few weeks later, when nobody is sure what’s still true and users start to get frustrated. Once trust in the docs drops, usage drops with it. That’s the problem I want InkLoom to solve.
