Always players pay the price for the mistakes..
If the reset happened properly on their accounts, they could have earned up to wallet cap, spend, and earn again. This will award them doubloons back only up to the wallet cap..

@Kittenking19 I didn't understand if they will take away the cosmetic items purchased from all players or only from those who bought them because they didn't receive the reset, because if it's the second option I agree, they bought everything but with the old value

Update: As these players could use Doubloons they shouldn't have had to purchase high-value items, any Black or Smugglers' Market goods they've bought since the reset will be removed from their inventories in the next few days; they will need to be re-purchased with Doubloons earned fairly post-reset.

The @SeaOfThieves doubloon fix is a mess. Players not reset were stuck at the 4k cap, unable to farm. Now you’re removing their items? At the next event, they’ll have to grind double: for the old items AND the new ones. Stop punishing us for your bugs!
