"FAM should not be focusing on grassroots, we should only be focusing on our national teams only". My jaw dropped. I thought to myself, no wonder they do what they do. They got their focus and priorities wrong. The national team is only as strong as the grassroots.

I don’t understand what the confusion is. The platform IS MFL. The teams own it and the constitution allows for the teams to raise matters for discussion.

In Asia, few football associations have been plagued by as many scandals as Nepal’s 🇳🇵, which could even face suspension by FIFA if the upcoming elections (originally scheduled for 11 February) do not take place within a week. Between match-fixing a few years ago, the misappropriation of FIFA grants (notably from the GOAL programme), corruption cases, concerns over the organisation of the league, countless managers (including Al-Mutairi, who started well but spoke to the players as if they were nobodies), conflicts with the players’ union, the politicisation and suspension imposed by the National Sports Council, and a lack of stadiums meeting standards... On the pitch, the national team has collapsed, even at youth level. Finishing bottom of their Asian Cup qualifying group, unable to beat Laos just a week ago (0-1), it is hard to see any hope, even if this does not seem to worry ANFA president Pankaj Bikram Nembang, who sits on the AFC Executive Committee and enjoys FIFA’s support...

Konvoi pagi tadi bukan sekadar perjalanan di jalan raya, ini simbol perjalanan kita sebagai satu ummah. Kita berhimpun dalam Ijtimak Antarabangsa Perpaduan Ummah Kali ke-5 dan Himpunan Alam Melayu 2026 kerana ingin membawa mesej jelas iaitu apabila kita bersatu, kita akan kuat. Tiada beza negeri, latar atau bangsa tetapi yang ada hanya satu tujuan demi memperkukuh ukhuwah dan masa depan bersama. Terima kasih kepada semua yang hadir dan memeriahkan konvoi ini dengan penuh semangat. Insya-Allah, langkah kecil hari ini akan jadi asas besar untuk masa depan ummah yang lebih kukuh.
