Spoilers for Chainsaw Man: Reze Arc and Wuthering Waves 3.3// They feel similar, so similar that it feels its not a coincidence. I really want to hear your thoughts about Reze - Denia similarity over story and personality. This is maybe a trope or something in my head i cannot move on but i want to discuss it. I am sure one writer from Kuro knows Reze and i will try to prove it. Two girls, they are not looking same yes but time to show similarities: - They are trained/made for being weapon and also they trained by organizations to match their personality and to be adapted for various situations. - They are both hybrid and have transformations (Bomb Devil, Aleph-1) - They are both fighting with MC then regretting it also want to have time with MC later. - They are somewhat dating with MC and making jokes about falling to MC. - They are both regretting not meeting MC earlier or in different way. - They are both trying to like MC but also cannot because of the plot. - Also they have both sad endings but also have doors open that can comeback later for the plot. I can't stop thinking about Denia and her quest. The parallels between Aemeath and Denia are so fascinating. The obvious one is in their design. Pink hair. Similar color scheme in their clothes. But it goes a lot deeper. Aemeath wears her heart on her chest. Denia has hers locked behind a seal. Aemeath forgot her parents due to Voidstorm. Denia's memories were erased by GA. Denia found GA and Aemeath found their rival, Rover. Aemeath was amazing at reading and understanding emotions. Denia had to learn emotions in the academy. They dealt with depression episodes in the academy and kept their true selves behind fake smiles. Aemeath idolized the person who had raised her. Denia loathed hers more than anything in the world. Aemeath had complete freedom to be anything. Denia had no control over her life. Aemeath willingly became Exostrider's resonator. Denia was forced to be Aleph-1's resonator. Despite everything that had happened, they both chose to be saviors. The academy didn't know about Aemeath's sacrifice when it happened. They also don't know what Denia had done for them. They were both lost in the voidspace, their physical bodies destroyed. These tiny details are just so fascinating to me. I LOVE KURO GAMES. ALSO... KILL GRAND ARCHITECT

Wuwa players after 3.3 part 2:

2 years have passed since the day we all first started our Journeys on Solaris-3. Allow me to write a love letter to Wuthering Waves and Kuro games. May 22nd 2024. The day that Wuthering Waves first launched, it launched to negative reception, blind brigading, and hate campaigns to bring it down. But the developers never gave up, they worked tirelessly, for days on end to fix their game, to make it work for everyone and to ensure that every single player had the optimal experience of their passion project. 1.0 was a rough start, but some people, myself included, saw the potential that this game had, we saw how dedicated the Developers were, we saw how quickly they listened to the community and even compensated the players for the launch issues, so we stuck around. 1.1 launched, and immediately the story's direction was more clear, and the writing was much better, to go along with Jinhsi and Changli, two characters that need no introduction, both of which were very positively received by the existing playerbase. 1.3 was where the story really showed it's potential, with the emotional, and heartbreaking story of The Shorekeeper. An AI born for one purpose, but who had found another, far more personal reason to exist, and It showed that this game could write brilliant stories. 1.4 was brutal, it is by far the lowest point the game has ever been at, it got so bad that people thought that if 2.0 didn't stick the landing, then Wuthering Waves might completely die. But they were wrong. 2.0 launched to OVERWHELMING amounts of support, love, and new players finally giving the game a chance. It launched with my personal favorite character, Carlotta. A brilliant, charismatic, and gentle character, with a playful side. She immediately captivated me and so many others, and showed how much potential 2.x and beyond had to offer. Fast forward to 2.2, this is where many people say that the story finally picked up (personally I believe it was actually 1.3). Following the story of the blessed maiden, Cartethyia, who wouldn't actually release until 2 patches later. But her story of hardship, dedication and a will to survive captivated millions of hearts. Which leads to 2.4, where she would become the highest selling character to date. Launching alongside Lupa, a brilliant, high octane gladiator wolf girl. Who instantly became a fan favorite with her spunk and fighting spirit. It also really established the Fractsidus as a looming threat, with Cristoforo's script writing being the main cause of conflict in the patch, setting up the rest of 2.x 2.5. Do I even need to speak on this patch? The first playable Fractsidus member, Phrolova. Launched to OVERWHELMING amounts of love, and interest. With her story causing millions of people to cry, sympathizing with the character while also knowing her flaws. It was also the first time where our seemingly perfect main character, Rover, was directly challenged for their beliefs. And they failed, losing the fragment of the threnodian's power to the fractsidus after Phrolova directly calls them out for their hypocrisy. 2.6 launched with one of the strongest character lineups to date, Augusta, a Brilliant, Charismatic leader, with a heart of iron, who made her seemingly weak Forté work to it's absolute limit to stand side by side with Rover. As well as Iuno. A gorgeous, slightly Tsundere priestess, who made an ultimate sacrifice to save Augusta, making many people fall for her due to strong will and desire to help her friend. Not to mention that she was stunningly beautiful. 2.7, the finale of Rinascita, the ultimate battle between everyone we met rose up to face the Threnodian Leviathan in a climactic battle for the ages. Ultimately defeating the Threnodian in the end thanks to the help of Galbrena. A courageous, badass and strong warrior who stood up to her own fate and defied it, using the power of the very things she hates the most to make herself stronger. 2.8 released to mixed reception, with diehard Otaku fans loving the moe, anime vibes of the quest, with others hoping for a more action packed adventure feeling dissatisfied. This patch launched with Chisa, one of the most anticipated characters of the entirety of 2.x. a kind, quiet girl from Ashinohara, who underwent unprecedented circumstances and had to survive on her own in a city that would tear itself apart frequently. She instantly became a fan favorite with her anime school girl vibe, cute face, and awesome animations. Captivating many hearts with her charms. Now, we have finished 2.x. a strong patch cycle with some ups and downs, but beloved by the fandom regardless. Now we move on to where Wuthering Waves has really started to shine, 3.x. 3.0 launched to INSANE fanfare and support, reaching an all time high steam playercount, and bringing in insane amounts of new players and returning ones. This patch's story is where the game's story really began to set itself apart with it's high storytelling budget and musical quality. 3.0 launched with Lynae, a spunky, gyaru biker girl, she's fun, she's wild and she's a troublemaker. Obviously many people ended up loving her. 3.0 also launched with Mornye, an adorable, small professor at Startorch academy, adorable, quiet, kind and sweet. It's understandable why she's a fan favorite to this day. 3.1. I feel like I don't even need to write about how incredible this patch was. The story was HUGE in spectacle, emotional, and gave us HUGE lore drops. But it also showed a different side to our beloved main character Rover. Emotional, reckless, and irrational. A side we really had never seen from them before, and they've been developing consistently ever since. 3.1 launched with THE DAUGHTER, Aemeath. She is probably the most popular character in the game and it's fully understandable as to why. She's beautiful, kind, smart, funny, and has a heart of gold. All while suppressing her true inner turmoil, and looking up to her parental figure, Rover. Ultimately making a sacrifice she alone couldn't undo. 3.1 also launched with Luuk, a courageous, kind hearted, but broken man. Who has since found peace in Lahai-Roi. Groomed by the Grand Architect, he made it his life mission to take revenge on the fractsidus for what they did to him. We all love Luuk, he's impossible to hate. A truely Brotherly character, being there for Rover in their time of need after Aemeath's sacrifice. 3.2 launched to mixed reception, with many people feeling underwhelmed after the massive stakes and emotional weight of the previous patch's story. This time we followed Sigrika, learning about her personal troubles and how she feels inadequate, while also introducing my second favorite character, Denia, and the Anniversary headliner, Hiyuki. 3.3 drops to probably the craziest, most hyped reception the game has EVER seen. Justifiably so for the 2nd anniversary. The climax of the Lahai-Roi story, Rover taking a 1 try all or nothing gamble with their own life to pilot the exostrider to save Aemeath from the void. This quest was a cinematic experience unlike anything else you can experience in the space, massive, space spectacle setpieces, gorgeous music, and a final battle that will go down as an all timer boss fight. 3.3 launched with Hiyuki, almost a Mirror of Rover, a woman with a savior complex, but unlike Rover, she's failed time and time again. Their dynamic is incredible throughout this story. Now for possibly the most well written character in the game, my second favorite character, Denia, A girl crafted for 1 single purpose, to be the Threnodian Aleph-01's resonator. She suffered horribly her entire life, having to learn how to be human from books and videos. Her story is one of suicidal thoughts, a feeling of worthlessness, and of self sacrifice. A tragedy in the truest sense. We have the cyberpunk Edgerunners collab coming in 3.4, a new Region in 3.5, and ITS ONLY UP FROM HERE BABY, LONG LIVE WUTHERING WAVES AND JOURNEY WELL! HAPPY 2ND ANNIVERSARY!!!
