Impossible to believe then. Impossible to believe now. 25 years have passed. After all that time, still impossible to define Dale Earnhardt — a common man who did uncommon things holding a steering wheel, and whose everyman appeal inspired us all. @SportsCenter essay. #3Forever

There is virtually no legal risk for doctors to admit they were wrong about ME/CFS. Yet the vast majority don't. Why? Acknowledging decades of harmful advice threatens their identity and is deeply painful. Integrity would mean speaking out anyway. Not doing so means delaying progress and is inflicting more harm.

Give it two to three years… That’s when all the NASCAR fans that have been bitching to high heaven to get The Chase format back, who are all in on this hype, they’re going to flip flop back to bitching, whining, crying and complaining that they want the old Championship format back. Thats what they do. It’s in their psychology, it’s in their DNA. It’s irrelevant if they get the change that have been asking for. Sooner rather than later, they’re going to regress and flip. It’s an uncanny, bizarre, and peculiar albeit reliable trait. If Jesus himself performed the ULTIMATE and raised Dale Sr. back to us, (God rest his dear soul), I’m convinced they would find an angle to complain about such a joyous miracle.

Living with #MECFS reminds me of two Greek mythological characters: Sisyphus and Damocles. Sisyphus, because struggling with fatigue is like rolling that stone uphill indefinitely, and Damocles, because you risk deteriorating any moment without warning. #MEAwarenessHour

Just so everyone is clear: al-Qaeda is also a terrorist organization, and they are actively plotting large-scale attacks against our homeland. Yet our government has aligned with and enabled al-Qaeda in Libya, Afghanistan, and now Syria—while misleading the public by labeling everything as an ISIS attack when it is not….like with the recent attack on our troops in Palmyra. To double down on this lie, they just conducted strikes on staged “ISIS” locations in Syria which you should find humiliating, I do! Some were old ISIS locations, some were spots in the desert the new Syrian regime buried weapons to call it an ISIS weapons cache. And anyone claiming the Syria strikes put fear into ISIS clearly has no access to ISIS jihadi forums, where they are openly mocking us. We showed you again and again the fake ISKP operations in Afghanistan, it’s more of the same ruses funded by U.S. taxpayer dollars. And it makes no one safer as we are only hitting locations the terrorists are allowing. Anyone who actually understands terrorist networks sees this as a win for both groups. Falling for terrorist deception is not an effective counterterrorism policy—IT’S FAILURE—and it needs to STOP. You do not have to fall in line behind manufactured political narratives. No, it’s not splitting your party to demand people do their jobs right, and with integrity. For example, why are they not arresting hundreds of terrorists a day, here, when they know at least 18,000 are in this country. We get excuses, not action! And the actions we get are half a world away and are strictly performative. When officials fail, call it out, because terrorists interpret silence as weakness. It needs to be clear that the American public is not going to play the part as useful idiots, we will not pretend there is peace when this is clearly a war!
