Where were the Cornyn haters on this one? She’s just as bad and there is 0 risk to primarying her.
She should’ve been prioritized over him 100%, but now we have to deal with 6 more years of SMC.

We probably could have knocked out Moore Capito tonight in West Virginia if a known, viable candidate ran against her. She only finished 16.5% above 50 against token opposition. This is why building a bench is important. Starts at the state, if not even local, level!

It looks Like Spencer Deery will defeat Paula Copenhaver by only 3 votes. Deery joins Goode as the only anti-redistricting candidates to win against Trump-endorsed challengers. Both have deep ties to Todd Young and Mitch Daniels.
Never let anyone tell you your vote doesn't matter, and never let anyone tell you party crossover in primaries doesn't matter.

Update Wednesday: Single provisional ballot in Parke County for Indiana Senate District 23 goes to state Sen. Spencer Deery. That puts Deery +3 over Paula Copenhaver in GOP primary. Final provisionals: 2 in Tippecanoe County, being considered Friday. Looks like Deery wins.

Indiana Republicans need to institute closed primaries before they try congressional redistricting again.

He had no money for ads.
There was also the old RINO trick of having multiple candidates. I believe there were 5.

@BananaRep405 @7h3_6h05t She didn't have a serious challenger unfortunately. Though you could also argue her last name might've saved her- the Capito family is a longtime political dynasty in WV which are stupidly hard to take out. It's part of the reason I oppose dynasties in general.
