Soricimed is focused on developing effective, highly-targeted therapeutics for several solid tumor cancers, like pancreatic cancer, with the goal of one day making an impact on those living with this disease.

According to the Canadian Cancer Society, just under 7,000 Canadians were diagnosed with pancreatic cancer last year, with roughly 5,700 patients succumbing to the disease.

Most people diagnosed with pancreatic cancer are no longer alive five years after diagnosis. Today, we recognize #WorldPancreaticCancerDay. It's imperative to raise awareness of the symptoms and risk factors for this disease so it can be diagnosed quicker.

Pancreatic Cancer is the toughest cancer to diagnose, treat and survive. Its survival rate is one of the lowest of common cancers, with a mortality rate of 90%.
