Members of SI Huntington Beach along with members of SI Newport Harbor Area and SI Brea-LaHabra supported the fundraiser for Higher Ground OC on 09/30/23. Our club, SIHB, provides the SIA’s signature program, Dream It, Be It to 6th, 7th & 8th grade girls at Higher Ground OC.

SIHB’s 2023-2024 Board of Directors Meeting was held August 28, 2023 on Huntington Harbour. (We had Captain Jack drive the Duffy Boat.)

SIHB is so proud of our former Live Your Dream/Dolly Wakeham/Dream Beyond honoree Jenny Ortega, who graduated with highest honors from Cal State San Marcos!! Here she is with with her eldest, Mia, and her honors cord. Congratulations Jenny!!

Our 2022-23 Live Your Dream honoree, Ashleigh, was selected by the Desert Coast Region to represent our region in the federation judging for an additional award.   We are so proud of Ashleigh and what she does to help others!

The Women’s Sailing Association – Orange County, Women in the Wind, treated our club and the women and girls we serve to an amazing day of sailing which included lunch, a goody bag, snacks, and sharing. We are so grateful for their generosity and hope to do it again next year!

We are so proud of Laneisha Brown, who, after being chosen as an SIHB honoree, was selected as a @soroptimist federation award honoree! Laneisha is an @orangecoast student and a sex trafficking survivor. She received a $10k Soroptimist grant. Article in the @TheDailyPilot:
