I just assumed Quebec was simply doing their own thing (as always) and personally didn’t take their approach seriously. I certainly don’t trust Quebec with established lore, especially modern day. I was hoping Hexe would’ve picked up where Valhalla ended, via Montreal’s doing. Really hoping we’re not again abandoning modern day plot. First Juno, now Basim? Come on Ubi..

I’m surprised how many players are only just realising that the Modern Day has jumped to the future setting. I mean, it was hinted at since Mirage, but has certainly been in-universe since the release of Shadows. Placing the MD narrative into unlockable text files is not helping.

@SH3RIFFO Agreed, but equally it was left in the files. Whether deliberately, I guess we’ll never know. Certainly feels like a hint looking back at this point though.

@VtM_Bloodlines Pretty underwhelming. All of 45 minutes of content, which felt more like deleted scenes. Like others have said, would rather have played more as Phyre than the unlikeable knucklehead Benny.
