The trial over Albert Ojwang's death has now begun, what has come out in court today is deeply disturbing. We don't have a NPS it's a POLICE FORCE full of thugs & killers. The @ODPP_KE says his killing was premeditated, not accidental. He was assaulted while in custody. The court has also heard of an attempt to destroy crucial CCTV evidence, and a technician has testified about surveillance footage being deleted. According to testimony presented in court, the available footage shows two unidentified men entering the cell block by the help and guidance of the officers on duty. All of this leads to one unavoidable question: who wanted Albert Ojwang dead? Every alleged attempt to conceal evidence only makes that question more urgent. The public deserves clear answers not speculation, not conflicting accounts, but the truth established through the judicial process. If this was a planned killing, then who planned it, who carried it out, and who stood to benefit? What confidence should any Kenyan have that the next victim won't be you, your child, your brother, or your friend?
