Let's say this is true, I myself don't know, but I know Aipac are very strong in the US and they support both Republicans and Democrats, so they keep having influence. So the free free Palestine crowd work for free? They are the most financed people on the planet. And they only work in western countries. Not in Russia or China, or any of the Arab countries

Two examples, both left Lebanon and moved to the West: •Gad Saad @GadSaad left Lebanon with his family out of fear for their lives. As Lebanese Jews, they were targets and had to flee to survive. He found safety in the West, built a successful career, and has used his voice to defend the system and values that gave him that opportunity. •Mario Nawfal, @MarioNawfal on the other hand, left Lebanon as a child with his family in search of a better future, not under immediate threat. Yet today, he uses his platform to undermine the same Western system that enabled his success, promoting narratives aligned with the Iranian regime against the U.S., a regime that has fueled anti-Western hostility and supported militant groups across Lebanon, Iraq, Syria, and Yemen. Two people from the same country. Two different paths. Two opposite outcomes. One chose to defend the system that protected him. The other uses that same system to attack it. That contrast says a lot about the two faces- and consequences - of immigration.

@ddm22012461 @SoulColoursX @BrotherRasheed @GadSaad Maybe in the West. Jews took refuge in the East. Do you know the full history of Alwaites, Shia, Melkites, Kurds, Druze in West Asia? Everyone has a story. Jews aren't special. Sorry. Leb mountains are a refuge for persecuted minorities.

Ziad we spoke before, in the logic that you are following, it means that somehow the Palestinians are special and are allowed to use another country to launch terrorist operations and battles against another country. The truth is that Lebanon didn't serve as a refuge for them only, but for a lot of people, in a lot of conflicts

The LAF now, first and formost, needs to make sure the communities are ok and safe and protected. People are scared now that things descend into chaos with the displaced armed people in areas that are hostile to Hezbollah. A major disaster that Iran and Israel inflicted on the Lebanese, on top of everything that has been done to them. Funny that they had a deal that held for all these years, except for 2006. Lebanon paid a huge price. Now that they're not friends anymore, Lebanon still has to pay the price

I have the highest respect for you, but need I remind you that the LAF is in rebellion and refuses to carry out the government’s orders? If you seek support, you must explain how the resources potentially supplied to Lebanon will further the mission the LAF refuses to carry out. You stand out among the Lebanese political class as a rational and enlightened man. Please make a rational case for providing additional resources to the LAF, and you will get a fair hearing from the USA.

Iran, using Hezbollah, has dragged Lebanon into a war we did not choose. However, our government remains determined to pull Lebanon out of Iran’s grip. There is an urgent need to support the Lebanese Army and armed forces, enabling them to fulfill their role in maintaining security and stability, and extending state authority across all Lebanese territory.

Even in light of Hezbollah's victories, the Lebanese petit-bourgeois still groans about "suicide missions" and "being dragged into war" (that usually doesn't affect them btw) because they fear the loss of the liberal-Western social-political order they materially benefit from

I moved years ago because I met my ex partner who is Aussie. But I'm an activist for Lebanon and I love it heaps when I go back. It's a beautiful country. I don't go about doing what Gad does. The situation has gone from bad to worse in Lebanon in the recent 20 years. Worse than the civil war.

He could at least explain how things were. Lebanon is not one entity. It's different groups. Not all of us are Jew haters and out to get them, like he makes it out to be. He could use his platform to help our Lebanon, now when it needs it most. What happened to him happened to people from other religions too. Palestinian militants destroyed and killed many Christians too. And they were supported by Sunnis in Lebanon, and their communists friends. And there were also the Shia militants, pro Syrian regime guys. It's a multi level conflict, and they were all out to get us. The Christians were able to resist and last 15 years. Unfortunately, East Beirut fell afterward, and all Lebanon has since paid the price. I grew up in the war too, and we were constantly bombarded by whoever. But I love Lebanon to death. That's all we have. Most other surrounding countries have been emptied of their Christians

Abolish the "Boycott Israel" archaic law. Great post but you forgot to say it's Islamic by nature, that it was imposed on us, and brutally enforced post Taef years, by both political Islam (Sunni and Shia). Not only it's prevented many expats from coming back home to Lebanon, it was also used by Political Islam and the Syrian criminal regime to put their hand on the central government, and steal the wealth and goods of Beirut and Mount Lebanon. Today, Lebanon, ruined by a post Taef government that constantly cripples it, is used by a terrorist militia as a battlefield, and has to go and beg the Arabs and the West for our independence, again.

instagram.com/reel/DV85pwrFI… They are the real resistance. The angry people at the start part, was during the funerals of a Christian priest, where a pro Hezbollah MP was present, in one of the Lebanese Christian border villages. The second part, the people are establishing barriers to protect their village from Hezbollah militants infiltrating to launch missiles at Israel, causing their village to be bombed back in retaliation by the IDF. ------------- Hezbollah opened this Lebanese front again in 2026 as a "battle of support for Iran", during the current Israelo-Iranian conflict. While they promote it as "resistance fighters against the enemy", this front serves as an extra front to relieve Iran's battle, and at the same time to put pressure on the international community. At the end Israel and Iran might make a deal and stop their war. My country, however, would be once more, scathed and destroyed 😥. #Lebanon #Hezbollah #IranWar#Iran #Israel

@AntoinetteXlb The Lebanese army needs the help to protect the communities. It won't be able to do much re the 1701 just like it never did against Assad father and son, Abo Ammar and the Nasserists, because it need a political decision

Maybe for the "us muslims oumma" you are talking about, it's better, but not for us the core of Lebanon. We were with 2 problems (Hezbollah and Israel), we will end up with 3 (Hezbollah, Israel, Jihadists). Remember not so long ago when we had Abou Ammar and all he did to Lebanon, him and the pro Syria crowd who opposed him. And before him the pig Abdel Nasser, didn't they all hijack Lebanon. And before we were occupied for ever by all God's regional creatures
