Abraham believed God, and it was counted unto him for righteousness. [4] Now to him that worketh is the reward not reckoned of grace, but of debt. [5] But to him that worketh not, but believeth on him that justifieth the ungodly, his faith is counted for righteousness. Galatians 2:16 KJV [16] knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law, but by the faith of Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Jesus Christ, that we might be justified by the faith of Christ, and not by the works of the law: for by the works of the law shall no flesh be justified. Ephesians 2:8-9 KJV [8] For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: [9] not of works, lest any man should boast. If you are justified before God by your works, in any way, you have a reason to boast. If you have never believed The Gospel (you are saved WITHOUT works of ANY kind) then you are not saved. A HUGE number of people DO NOT believe The Gospel. You see my point friend? It is the most important subject in Christianity. It literally determines who is Christian or not.

Works are what keeps our faith alive (James 2:24) None of this is a primary issue though, it’s all secondary. Focus on the unbelievers first
