Now that the mainstream media is getting involved, it’s going to be harder for PlayStation to stay silent on the issue. There’s only so far you can get with a “no comment” policy. No, they can’t force them to keep producing discs. But they *CAN* introduce regulations to protect Digital Purchases and ensure proper ownership of Digital Media the same as Physical. And *THAT’S* what’s needed if Discs are going away. Until Digital has proper consumer protections, Physical will always be superior.
