@hvgoenka Proud to be a part of the animal loving nation. At least we (animal lovers) are not monopoly like CESC. And we (animal lovers) do not tacitly extort money like CESC. We love animals you Love money. We are different bro
Young students at Behala demonstrated a strong protest against dire road conditions infront of their schools. If there had been any shame @FirhadHakim would've resigned immediately. TMC has fully failed Kolkata on basic civic administration.
Last night, journalist Kishalay Mukherjee of Republic Bangla was brutally attacked by miscreants near Park Circus railway station.
As a citizen of West Bengal and a public representative, I unequivocally condemn this cowardly assault on a journalist. I demand the immediate arrest of the culprits and strictest possible punishment under the law.
If a journalist is not safe in Mamata Banerjee’s Bengal, what security can an ordinary citizen possibly expect?
This incident exposes the complete breakdown of law and order under Mamata Banerjee, who also holds the Home Ministry portfolio. West Bengal has become a lawless jungle, where dissenting voices, especially those critical of the regime, are silenced through violence.
This is not an isolated case. Here are just a few shameful examples from recent times that show the grim reality:
1. Anirban Roy (2023) – ABP journalist was manhandled by TMC goons while covering post-panchayat poll violence.
2. Tapas Roy murder (2022) – A journalist from North 24 Parganas investigating illegal sand mining was found dead under suspicious circumstances.
3. Aditi Gupta (2021) – A female journalist reporting on a rape case was harassed and threatened by local TMC leaders.
4. News18 Reporter assault (2021) – A crew covering cyclone relief scams in East Midnapore was physically assaulted by ruling party henchmen.
5. Post-poll violence (2021) – Multiple journalists were chased, beaten, and their equipment vandalised when they tried to report the targeted attacks on BJP workers.
Each of these instances screams one truth: Journalism is under siege in West Bengal, and the state machinery is either complicit or criminally negligent.
It is high time the people of Bengal rise up against this tyranny. Mamata Banerjee must be held accountable for every drop of blood spilled due to her government's failure and arrogance

@kmc_kolkata All gimmick& eye wash for the citizens. Citizens have a constitutional right for a clean environment and KMC is not committed towards a guarantee of this right. They seek money for illegal construction.

@kmc_kolkata Whats the use of these press conferences? Press conferences are just a gimmick and an eye wash for the citizens. The real story' lies in the picture. The "achievements" of KMC
