@glazingblogger Unless you address the low wages, lack of sick pay, respect or care for employees, the low value placed on skills and experience which the fenestration sector is mired in then anything the government attempts is meaningless. The industry needs to sort its own house out first.

Dear Keir. You can fiddle with the planning system all you want. Unless you address the chronic skills gap that the entire construction sector is mired in, any target you set is meaningless.

Too many people are grafting hard, doing everything right, but still can’t buy their home. Our Plan for Change will overhaul the planning system to build 1.5 million homes and make the dream of home ownership a reality. My government backs the builders over blockers.

@devon_creamteas Ohh tricky one, would have loved to receive all the items I paid for together with the ' high quality presentation gift card' advertised instead of a thin, cheap bit of paper. Items not presented in a jumble would be nice and also scones that don't leave a back taste of bicarb👍

Watching the Post Office Inquiry I cannot get out of my head the fact that Paula Vennells is an Anglican priest. She knows little, much under-the-bus throwing and now tears: my friend was one of the accused, was gaoled and changed beyond recognition because he was innocent.
