I’ve been going through some pretty heavy burnout lately so I’ve been taking time in between my work to just… not do anything productive and just goof off and play games with friends and take it easy for a bit. I hope I’ll get the energy back to do personal projects again soon.

@SpaceyBat freedom planet 1/2 are some of the most important games in my life! seeing the project grow and evolve into what it is was a really important spark in my own desire to become involved in gamedev, so i can't thank you and the team enough for all of your hard work over the years ✨

Denshaattack is the latest example within the game industry that when you properly invest music into your budget + marketing to have a decked out soundtrack, your game will have permalasting appeal. game music is not just background noise only to be in service of its gameplay!

honestly, i think one of the best things an artist can have is work that you as a fan just Do Not Like in the slightest… being true to your art means occasionally making something that doesn't resonate with people the same way and as a fan that shouldn’t be a bad thing

通りがかりで気になったので👀… 音楽界隈にいる身として技術的に普通に考えられる真実と、プロの表現者として絶対に看過できない「表現者の姿勢」についてお伝えしたい。 結論から言うと「ポップガードに口が当たっているのに衝突音がないから口パク」というのは、音響技術を知らない素人の誤解、ひいては自分の狭い世界しか見ていない人の傲慢な決めつけです。 日之内さんのスタイル（息遣いまで拾うためにマイク感度を上げる録音）の基準なら、確かに衝突音が入るでしょう。 しかし西川貴教さんの規格外の声圧を録る現場は別世界です。爆音で音が割れないよう、現場のエンジニアは入力感度（ゲイン）を極限まで下げ、コンプレッサーを強くかけて彼の生歌を制御しています。 さらに接触時の「ボコッ」というノイズは10Hz〜50Hz付近の超低域に発生するため、エンジニアはハイパスフィルターでこの不要な帯域をカットします。 つまり「西川さんの超爆音」だけにピントを合わせている状態なので、布に唇が触れた程度の微振動は最初から入力基準に届かず、完全にマスキングされて消えているわけです。 これは手抜きでも騙しでもなく、現場のプロたちの意地と技術の結晶です。それを「素人を騙せると思ってる、人を見下す感性がキモい」などと、よくもまあ他人のプライドを汚す言葉が吐けたものです。事の真偽（口パクかどうか）以前の、これはもう単にあなたの「プロの表現者としての品格」が疑われる大問題ですね。 「あいつらは人を見下してる」と怒り狂っている張本人が、実は自分のちっぽけな経験則だけを正義にして、裏側で必死に戦っているエンジニアや、何より命を削るような生歌を披露した西川さんのプロフェッショナリズムを、一番「見下して」舐め腐っている。 技術的な無知は知識を得れば済みますが、自分が理解できないものを「悪意」や「手抜き」と決めつけて冷笑するその根性の貧しさは、表現者として一番ブサイクな生き方です。他人の感性を断罪する前に、まずは自分の想像力のなさを恥じるべきでしょう。あなたはプロなんでしょ？ 自分の物差しだけで他人を裁くのは、自らの無知を晒す一番の恥。真のプロなら、他者の努力と奇跡にまず敬意を払うべきです。言葉の棘はいつか必ず自分に返ってきます。その心が一番「イタイイタイイタイ」ですよ😭
