A concerned citizen of Nigeria really wants to know how Peter Obi became the governor of Anambra State. He doesn't want to work for anything; he just wants everything to be given to him on a platter of gold. He's running for a ordinary primary election in ADV but wants to rule Nigeria nationally. Peter Obi is the real definition of a coward 🤡

@DeeOneAyekooto He has his own bag, why go carry someone else bag who is only carrying 1 bag also, carrying bag for someone of your son's age. If 2baba is carrying two bags, it even justifiable but carrying two bags while 2face walks empty handed acting like slave or errand boy behind him. Obi😂

The Attack on the GUO Bus Along Benin–Ore Expressway: Condemnable. I received the devastating report of a violent attack on a GUO transport bus travelling along the Benin–Ore Expressway, where armed kidnappers reportedly ambushed the vehicle, killed the driver, and abducted all passengers into a nearby bush. Sadly, this has become an increasingly distressing and recurring story. This is yet another heartbreaking reminder of the worsening insecurity on our highways and across the nation. No society can truly thrive under such conditions of fear and uncertainty. The impact of this crisis now cuts across all sectors of national life and development. Small and medium-scale enterprises (SMEs) are being severely affected. Transporters are losing passengers, while traders and business owners are losing customers who can no longer travel safely to access goods and services. Economic activity is being quietly strangled by insecurity. We must urgently confront this situation and take decisive steps to improve security across the country, especially for ordinary Nigerians who cannot afford the option of air travel. We must rethink and strengthen our national security architecture. The protection of lives and property must remain the foremost responsibility of the state. Anything less is unacceptable. May God protect our people and grant comfort to the families of those affected. -PO

Now a Disgraced Country Indeed Today, as the world marks World Health Day, we must pause for honest reflection. Nigeria, a nation of over 200 million people, continues to grapple with one of the weakest healthcare systems in the world. Our primary healthcare structure is almost comatose. We now record worse infant mortality outcomes than India, a country with a larger population, while health insurance coverage in Nigeria remains below 5%. These are not just statistics; they are a painful indictment of our priorities. Recent disclosures by the Honourable Minister of Health show that out of the ₦218 billion appropriated for healthcare capital expenditure, only about ₦36 million has been released. This is deeply troubling. At the same time, the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has projected over ₦135 billion for legal expenditures. Let us reflect on this. The amount earmarked for election-related litigation is far higher than what has been made available for primary healthcare, the very foundation of a nation’s wellbeing. This is the same primary healthcare system expected to serve millions of Nigerians and support critical institutions such as: 1. University of Benin Teaching Hospital, Benin City 2. University of Calabar Teaching Hospital, Calabar 3. University of Abuja Teaching Hospital, Gwagwalada 4. University College Hospital, Ibadan 5. Obafemi Awolowo University Teaching Hospital, Ile-Ife 6. University of Ilorin Teaching Hospital, Ilorin 7. Irrua Specialist Teaching Hospital, Irrua 8. University of Nigeria Teaching Hospital, Ituku-Ozalla, Enugu 9. Jos University Teaching Hospital, Jos 10. Aminu Kano University Teaching Hospital, Kano 11. Lagos University Teaching Hospital, Lagos 12. University of Maiduguri Teaching Hospital, Maiduguri 13. Nnamdi Azikiwe Teaching Hospital, Nnewi 14. University of Port Harcourt Teaching Hospital, Port Harcourt 15. Usmanu Danfodiyo University Teaching Hospital, Sokoto 16. University of Uyo Teaching Hospital, Uyo 17. Ahmadu Bello University Teaching Hospital, Zaria 18. Federal Teaching Hospital, Abakaliki 19. Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University Teaching Hospital, Bauchi 20. Federal Medical Centre, Yola These institutions represent hope for millions. Yet, they remain underfunded, overstretched, and burdened by systemic neglect. A nation that prepares more for electoral disputes than for the health of its citizens is a nation that has lost its way. We must begin to ask the difficult but necessary questions: What are our true priorities? What kind of nation are we building? And for whom? Healthcare and education are not optional; they are the foundation of national development. Any country that neglects them undermines its own future. Nigeria must urgently reorder its priorities. We must invest in the health and wellbeing of our people, strengthen our institutions, and build a system that works for all, not just a few. A new Nigeria is POssible. -PO

Tinubu in Jos Confirms ‘Don't Vote for Me’ Prediction on Power Supply During the 2023 campaign, President Tinubu made a clear electoral promise: “If I don’t give you constant electricity in four years, don’t vote for me for a second term.” When he took office in 2023, Nigeria had a power supply of over 4,000 megawatts and lower tariffs. Today, the electricity power supply is less than 4,000 megawatts on the average, and Nigerians are paying higher tariffs. Nigeria currently has the lowest per capita electricity consumption in the world, with a rate below 30% of the African average. Africa’s average is 617kwh, Nigeria’s is 144 kWh. This means that Nigerians consume least electricity than other Africans. In a glaring display of disregard for promises and a lack of trust, President Tinubu, during a brief airport stopover to visit grieving families of the Jos attack on Thursday, April 2, 2026, stated that one of the reasons for his 10-minute stay was that the airport had no electricity. “You have no light here I fly out in ten minutes” At a time when Nigerians are enduring days without power, our leaders cannot even stay a few minutes without it. Now is the time to stop incompetent leaders—those lacking the capacity and compassion—who prioritise their own comfort over the well-being of the people and make empty promises. A new Nigeria is POssible. -PO

Dear Yorubas, I am really curious to know, is it part of your culture to come back to your benefactor the next day to say “thanks for yesterday”? I’ve noticed that EVERY Yoruba person that I’ve assisted on this app would send a message the next day to say “thank you for yesterday”. I’ve not noticed this with any other tribe and I don’t do it either. Please I need to know.

I bank with Zenith Bank. When I slot in my ATM card, the machine will welcome me and say “Arome, welcome”. The machine is dealing with me as a personalised customer. If I give my friend, Gideon Odoma my ATM to help me make some withdrawals, when he slots in the card, the machine will still say “Arome, welcome”, it won't recognise Gideon. It accepts the transaction because it takes for granted that it is Arome. When you give your life to Christ, the Christ that is in you is the one that has the passcode to the throne of Grace. So when you come before the throne of Grace, you're not admitted into activities or transactions with that throne because you're ‘Samuel’ or ‘Philip’ by name. Christ in you becomes the basis of your right standing with God, He doesn't see you, He sees Christ; just like the ATM machine didn't recognise my friend Gideon and thought it was dealing with Arome. So, Christ in you becomes the reason of your acceptance. Not you in yourself, but Christ in you. As long as you have Christ in you, when you stand before God, you're Right from the perspective of the Justice system of Heaven. It is this RIGHTNESS that gives you the platform for Prayer. It is this RIGHTNESS that makes you to be able to engage God without inferiority, guilt and condemnation. And the proof that this RIGHTNESS is in place is that there's an inner PEACE. PEACE means you're accepted. Peace means welcomed. Peace means you're free to do transactions in the courts of Heaven. ••• And that's an arrangement that was put in place not because you had anything to contribute to it. Salvation is not a reward for good behavior; it is a gift released by the grace of God. We access this grace by putting our faith in Jesus Christ. Because it is entirely God’s doing and not our achievement, no man has grounds to boast. Therefore, every believer must live in humility, knowing that redemption is purely the mercy of God. 🇳🇬 JUST IN: Nobody Wanting to Run for President in 2027 Is More Qualified Than I Am’ ~ Peter Obi Speaks on 2027 Ambition, Alleges Political Pressure to Step Down at Enugu Session Former presidential candidate Peter Obi has addressed supporters at an interactive session of the Obidient Movement in Enugu, where he spoke extensively on his 2027 presidential ambition, political climate, and his vision for Nigeria. Speaking on the ADC presidential ticket and his resolve to campaign nationwide, Obi stated: “For those asking whether ADC will give me the presidential ticket, I’m not certain, but I’m fighting for it. Someone told me today that people are saying I shouldn’t come to their state to campaign. I’m not afraid of anyone, anybody can die at any time. I will go anywhere in this country if there’s a need to go there.” On alleged efforts to block his 2027 presidential bid, he said: “The Federal Government of Nigeria doesn’t want me to contest in the 2027 presidential election. Everything they are doing is about me. They have all the governors, ministers, contacts, and even know the King and Queen, but I don’t know why they are still afraid. Nobody wanting to run for president in 2027 is more qualified than I am. On this journey, I’ have seen everything, but it doesn’t affect me. Ask about my tenure as governor, I dealt with insecurity effectively.” On his vision for a new Nigeria and the challenges ahead, Obi added: “We are not asking for much. We just want to build a country where a child of nobody can become somebody without knowing many people. Those stealing from our country came from such poor backgrounds that had opportunities, yet they choose to steal. That is exactly what we want to change. It won’t be easy because we are up against a criminal system, which is why they are doing everything to stop us.”

Disturbing Report on Our Growing Poverty. Recent reports should deeply concern every responsible leader and citizen in Nigeria. A new policy study released by Agora Policy, with support from the Nigeria Economic Stability and Transformation Programme and the United Kingdom’s Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office, has shown that the poverty rate in our country has climbed from about 40% before the current reforms to over 63% today under this administration. Explicitly showing that the economic reforms of this administration have pushed more Nigerians into poverty than ever experienced in our dear nation. For a country whose population is estimated at over 220 million people, this means that well above 140 million Nigerians now live in poverty. Families nationwide can no longer afford basic necessities such as food, transportation, rent, or healthcare. Across the six geopolitical zones of Nigeria, families report painful coping strategies, reducing food consumption, trekking instead of using public transport, having no electricity to use, and borrowing simply to survive. Small businesses, which are the backbone of our economy are shutting down. An economy cannot be said to be improving when the majority of its people are becoming poorer. What makes this situation even more troubling is the contrast between the growing hardship faced by ordinary Nigerians and the continued pattern of lavish and insensitive spending by those in power. At a time when citizens are tightening their belts, struggling to eat, and watching their businesses collapse, the politicians continue to spend huge budgets on their comfort and other non-essential extravagances. Leadership must lead by example, especially during difficult times. You cannot ask the citizens to fast while you feast. Sacrifice must begin from the top. True economic reform must be people-centred. It must protect the most vulnerable while pursuing fiscal sustainability. Reforms that deepen poverty, widen inequality, and crush small businesses cannot be described as successful. Nigeria is blessed with immense human and natural resources. What we require is leadership that prioritises prudence, compassion, and accountability, leadership that measures success not by elite comfort but by the well-being of the ordinary Nigerian. Nigeria must urgently and strictly implement policies that support development, expand production, small businesses, and protect vulnerable households. A New Nigeria is POssible. -PO

I led the delegation of Chairmanship candidates of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) from across the Area Councils of the Federal Capital Territory to a strategic meeting with Mr. Peter Obi. Present at the meeting were also Mama Pee, Tanko Yunusa and Ndidi Mbagwu. The meeting was an important moment of engagement and reflection as we discussed the future of grassroots governance, the need for issue based leadership, and the responsibility of local government leaders to place the welfare of the people above all else. Mr. Peter Obi encouraged the candidates to remain steadfast, principled, and committed to building a new culture of leadership rooted in competence, accountability, and service. Our conversation reinforced the belief that meaningful national transformation must begin from the grassroots. Strong, transparent, and people-oriented leadership at the local government level remains critical to restoring trust in governance and delivering real development to our communities. I thank Mr. Peter Obi for his time, his encouragement, and his continued commitment to nurturing a new generation of leaders who are determined to put Nigeria first. -Dr. Moses Paul (DrMo) ADC Candidate, AMAC Chairmanship Election Servant of the People

This raises serious concerns. Nigerians can’t keep wailing online while the same system rewards controversial figures with ambassadorial roles. How does that shape the world’s view of Nigeria?
