@SoundsClips Mick Mercer wrote on substack re Toyah in those years around Sheep Farming & Blue Meaning how the band were such a different act to it's a mystery on. He mentioned they were on that pre- goth scene that was developing. Totally agree. Loved them on the Bird in Flight tour.

@duncan_round I agree Duncan, I saw them supporting @ThePretendersHQ at Leeds Uni and they were brilliant. Played "Signing Off" continuously.

@SoundsClips UB40 breaking through were so good live. Saw them at Seal Hayne college Newton Abbot. Music to dance & float to.
