I cannot believe I’m writing this bc it’s still not real. My beloved mom, my best friend, my hero unexpectedly passed this morning. My spirit is shattered. I don’t know how I’m going to get through this. I don’t wanna be here without her at all. I mean that with my everything.

@JeremyInReno I’m worried about the scabbing over thing bc everyone says it’s painful. not to worried about eating bc I barely eat as it is. I can do soup, water, jello and be fine lol. it’s the pain i’m worried about.

@SourceRyan I was 30 and the recovery was rough starting around day 3. Really have to stay on top of your meds. The area will scab over which is very painful. You’ll lose weight because you can’t eat much besides things like mashed potatoes. Having said that I’m glad they’re gone.

Have you had your tonsils taken out as an adult and how much did it suck? I’ll likely be having surgery in a few weeks and i’m trying to anticipate the worst 😭😭

@SourceRyan I was 18 and I hate to tell you but it was absolutely awful! I couldn't eat anything for a couple of weeks just liquids, popsicles, Jello and things like that. I haven't been nearly as sick since getting them out which was 20 years ago but the recovery was rough!

@SourceRyan I had my tonsils and adenoids removed in my late 20's. It wasn't horrific but it wasn't a good time either. Liquid diet. Sore throat but I've had worse pain. Couldn't run my mouth like I wanted to for a minute 😅. Tremendously better on the other side.

@gregory_scepi no, I think they just tortured him. When he was patient 6, he was drugged and kept in stasis. when he was presumed dead on Cassadine Island he was rescued and sent to be a contractor. This is unlike anything he’s never been through. I think they broke him. #GH
