Barely did anything productive today, just finished The Other Bennet Sister. Didn't expect it to bring me to tears. God I love costume dramas with nerdy underdogs who don't think they're good enough

I’m trying to be nicer to myself on the days I need to wear my hair up so today I am trying a bandana and even though it’s not the cleanest look, I feel way better than if I went clean face and the usual greasy bun. little steps :)

I need to rant about something but I can't tell anybody anything at the moment, so for now I'll just park my frustration and fear here until I can deal with it properly

Spotted the first bee outside of my backdoor! 😊 I'm the only one with plants outside on this side of the building, so it absolutely feels like a win to see them circling my plants in this (rather grey) parking lot :)

The door to my bedroom is right across from my couch. I put up a poster of the Argonath (basic film poster of which I cut off the bottom with the movie title), and it just,, brings me so much joy 😊 I don't nerd out much in my house but I do love me some subtle nerdy expressions

I no longer have a garden, but I do have some potted plants outside my door, and this little guy is the first one to pop up underneath my eucalyptus tree :)

@chaos_in_calm Good grief season 3 was so bad! I only started watching the series when s2 ended because literally everyone around me was talking about it and I felt left out, then s3 came and it was so awful. Only started this season because of Benedict, and it's my favourite so far

I'm tired and sad and bloody emotional about Bridgerton, this is so stupid and embarrassing. First his speech in ep 5 and then his relief when Sophie reacts well to him being bi.. god I like Benedict so much

the sisyphean task of trying to remain hopeful and kind in this hopeless, cruel world 🫩
