South St. Paul Police

HEAT patrols last night on I-94 in Mpls: Troopers stopped 57 vehicles for speeding, made two DWI arrests and arrested one person on an outstanding warrant. 19 were cited for driving without a valid license. Three drivers were stopped for using their cell phone behind the wheel.

In the fifth call of the night from the same address, a noise disturbance between neighbors resulted in a citation for disorderly conduct being given out. Suspect was yelling through the open floorboards of the house construction at their neighbor for over an hour. #MNcopsVRA

Officers are currently investigating a shooting that occurred at Holiday Gas Station off of Dodd Road. More info to follow. No threat to the public at this time #MNcopsVRA

Priority medical lead to officers discovering patient experiencing overdose. Fantastic work by officers on scene providing CPR for multiple rounds before medics arrived and took over. Patient was conscious and breathing by the time they were taken to hospital #MNcopsVRA

Disturbance 911 call lead to officers stopping a vehicle leaving the scene. Male in call had an alert out to pick him up on domestic abuse no contact order charges. Currently in route to jail #MNcopsVRA

HOMICIDE INVESTIGATION UPDATE We've made an arrest in the homicide that occurred last night, on the 1700 block of 7th Street East. Brian Harry Kjellberg, 50, was arrested early this morning and booked at the Ramsey County Jail for murder.

Traffic stop made leaving known drug house lead to discovery of felony level drugs. When officers tried taking male into custody, he attempted to fight, and after a short scuffle he was placed under arrest. Great team work, thank you to surrounding agencies as well!! #MNcopsVRA
