Year 2 had a wonderful day making healthy skewers they had designed in their design and technology lesson. They washed, chopped, peeled and sliced all their ingredients and then enjoyed eating and evaluating their work. #collaboration #achievement 🍡🍢

The Southcott Indoor Athletics team went to Cedars Upper school last week to compete in a competition. They managed to run, jump and sprint their way to glory beating all the other sixteen schools. County Finals next! @Cedars_Upper @LLSSP

Year 3 had an amazing World War 2 day with 'History-Off the Page'! We role played being in a 1940's classroom and went shopping in a village with our ration books. Great fun! historyoffthepage.co.uk

In Reception we observed some odd-looking green pumpkins. This was linked to learning about Harvest and other celebrations. We practised our mark making skills with wipe off pens. Then we took the pumpkins outside and explored them with their tops cut off. We used all our senses.

Year 1 had a wonderful time during Forest School. They had opportunities to create art from natural materials, use different tools and spend time exploring the outside environment.

'Lest we forget'.... A sample of some of the beautiful poppies our children have created. We were very proud of the 8 children chosen to represent the school at the Act of Remembrance this morning. Thank you to Pulfords Lower School for organising this.
