Advance notice: Rock deliveries will be made near Southsea Castle 26-27 March to fit with the tides. 2 sessions per day: 03:00-11:00 & 16:30-23:00. Rock installation both days from 06:00 to 12:30 & possibly some work breaking up the existing defence structure

Our coaster Liamare has arrived from Norway with the first shipment of rock for sea defences near Southsea Castle. Rocks will be delivered to shore early tomorrow morning bit.ly/379O5vT

We've removed top soil on the new haul road on Castle Field that will be used by construction vehicles. A base layer will make the road easier to remove once work is complete.

We've got an archaeologist from @wessexarch on site today, ensuring we won't be disturbing history around @Southsea_Castle once Frontage 4 works get underway.

'KERB' YOUR ENTHUSIASM! At Frontage 4 (Southsea Castle) we're installing 2 dropped kerbs on Clarence Esplanade to allow construction vehicles access to the working site. One near Blue Reef; one by Castle Field.

Work around Southsea Castle has started with site clearance, survey works & creation of 2 access points from Clarence Esplanade. Next week we commence on our vehicle access road along the eastern perimeter of Castle Field lnkd.in/dVVshq3k

The seafront promenade from Blue Reef to the Pyramids will be closed from Monday 31 Jan until early 2024 to allow our Frontage 4 construction to proceed. A pedestrian diversion will be in place.
