Venice has been thinking state final since a thumping of Miami NW in Week 0. This will be the most talented team they have seen since that game. West Orange is one of, if not the best Ds in FL. The Indians will be able to sustain some drives however and book a semifinal.

In a rematch of a Week 1 meeting, Berkeley Prep edges a much improved Clearwater Central.

I like FBA to get past the streaking Mustangs in a high scoring affair. This will likely set up a semifinal matchup with Champagnat in my estimation.

Big time rivalry. This time it's the cliche win-or-go-home variety. @RamsRhsFootball have had a fantastic season as their first round win coupled with reg season wins over Lehigh and Lake Gibson have showed. @VeniceIndianFB has just been a different type of animal all season.

Miami NW showed they are every bit the state power they've always been in a 71-19 rout over FMHS last week. @naplesfootball held a 21-10 lead over Miami Central late in the 3rd qtr last season before bowing out. This much improved Naples team gives up just 4 ppg

@TC_Football was impressive in a mild upset over CDS in walk-off fashion last week. This will be a rematch with @CCCMaraudersFB in which CCC won 38-21. @BPS_Football has been one of the most dominant teams in 3A all season and IMO are very undervalued despite lofty ranking

@NCS_MUSTANGS and @csn_football should be one of the best games played in the state on Friday. The Mustangs sport one of the state's top offenses. While the Seahawks have have gone 17-4 over the last two seasons.

@FBA_Athletics_ ramped up the schedule this season with matchups against 5A (Mass.) Andover, 7A Palmetto Ridge and traditional 3A power Bishop Verot. That will help them be prepared for the rigors of the playoff season.

@cjessica2004 Yes, I was so happy when I saw the draw for this one. The TC/CDS matchup feels like when NCAA tournament draws magically put Wichita St and Kansas or Kentucky and Louisville in the same bracket. Furthermore Cardinal Mooney and Verot have never met in the playoffs.
