top surgery in a week. holy shit. it’s finally happening.

lost my FUCKING airpods case cuz it fell out of my pocket at some point during my errands. i’m so upset.

it’s a weird thing i’ve started thinking about recently. idk if it has to do with being nearly thirty or seeing all my peers having kids. and this guilt is absolutely NOT changing my mind. but i still can’t help but feel like a disappointment.

i can’t help but feel guilty. feel sad that this is probably something that causes my parents pain. but i’m never having a kid, at least not my own. i mentioned it on the phone that maybe ill marry into having a child to try and lighten the mood. but i don’t think it helped.

my parents love babies and i think hace probably always fantasized about being grandparents. i have zero interest in having a child of my own and my brother is a long way away from being a father, if it ever happens at all. sometimes i wonder if my parents are ever disappointed

whats it like to sleep through the night, without waking up 1-3 times, and feeling refreshed and well-rested. like is that actually a thing that happens or is everyone that loves sleep lying.

HAND sewing i might add. a new costume for ren faire. it’s been a fantastic learning experience and im over the half way point now

how tf do people have time for more than one hobby?? i can draw, play minecraft, OR sew but i CANNOT do those things during the same it’s like a hard stop one or the other maintains my focus. anyways ive been sewing for the past month

i have so many drawings i started but gave up on. really hoping i can finish this one. i need a creative win.

a drawing i’m working on that used to take me a few hours is not taking me several days. i can’t sit and work on it as long as i used to, both physically and mentally. the fact that im even drawing feels like a miracle rn given how little motivation ive had for like,, a year.

my goal this year is to get mentally well enough to have a fish again. i know im not in a good space to try to care for anything other than myself right now, but id like to have another fish. working on myself for a betta future
