This is just not true. Even using the new "Reality Index" that Tucker prefers, the index climbs from a value of around 400 in 2019 to 545 in 2025. This is slightly more inflation than BLS reports, but it is not a cumulative 100% increase since 2019! Where is he getting this?

@jmhorp He's using the way we calculated inflation back in the 1980's. CPI literally subtracts out most of the inflation. I.e when you remove food and energy from the cpi, you are hiding a lot of inflation. Try harder.
