Chris Roberts released another letter from the chairman. Of note, he says 2025 will be a year of focusing on playability and content, not letting features get in the way as they have before. Without specifics on what that means, it’s hard to know what to expect. It could be interpreted as a pause on new features for focusing on bug fixing. It could mean fixing existing features and content that’s broken over the years, in other words addressing tech debt. My biggest concern is his comment about what’s there being great if it were stable - I’m of the opinion that stability alone would just highlight further what Richard Tyrer identified as the issue with the current experience: Star Citizen is just islands of features and content. We need reasons to earn rep, reasons to mine, to salvage, to bounty hunt beyond just making money for in game ships that may be wiped anyway.

So something I've just noticed since coming back. I'm playing my on-foot only character right now in preparation to begin streaming again. You know how the SCO drive helped speed things up? Apex Interstellar is not equipped with SCO drives. Yup. @EliteDangerous #EliteDangerous
