The Adventures of Cliff Booth, directed by David Fincher and written by Quentin Tarantino, has a $200 million budget, as verified by Tarantino. Tarantino receives $20 million for the script. Brad Pitt earns $20 million per picture, but he can enhance his income to $30 million for high-profile movies, such as this one. Furthermore, period pieces are costly when costumes and cars are included in, not to mention Fincher's penchant for cutting-edge CGI, which costs thousands per shot.

@mrpyo1 I made it to the last level of Returnal, but never beat it. Something keeps calling me back to it, and I’m so looking forward to Saros. Hopefully, it will be a little more forgiving.

It doesn’t sound like David Fincher’s Cliff Booth sequel is going to get a full theatrical release. I’m not going to mince words: this sucks. I loved Fincher’s 2023 film The Killer & I truly believe The Killer suffered from not getting a full theatrical release. Disappointing.
