According to @reluctantnicko Barnsley are planning further budgetary cuts next next season, putting more pressure on Conor Hourihane. It is thought that we may have “one of the lowest” budgets in League One next season. #barnsleyfc

I'm pleased that we cleared a major hurdle yesterday as we move towards our goal of taking ownership of this wonderful club by the end of the season. I'm grateful to the EFL and the administrators for such productive conversations this last week. I want you all to know that my team and I are working tirelessly, and are absolutely committed to doing everything we can to fight for the best possible outcome for Sheffield Wednesday and our incredible fans. Tomorrow, I fly back to the UK for a week of meetings with a wide range of experts to ensure we hit the ground running and deliver on our promises both on and off the pitch. I look forward to seeing many of you in Sheffield. Please do come over and say hi if you see me around town. David @swfc #swfc #wawaw #uto

In honour of THE OFFICE ’s 21st anniversary, what’s your favorite moment from the show?

I remember when Sheffield Wednesday were fighting relegation and we were chasing playoffs. Ground was packed, their fans so loud we couldn’t hear ourselves and it was shaking. The match was over before it began. We need The Hawthorns like that for the rest of the season #wba

EFL Chief Operating Officer Nick Craig, on Sheffield Wednesday: “The League want to see Sheffield Wednesday continue as a member of the EFL, but ultimately we have to also apply the terms of the League’s Insolvency Policy. “The policy, of which has been agreed with Clubs and is there to act as guidance for all Clubs and insolvency practitioners, seeks to balance the interests, not only of Sheffield Wednesday, but also of the other 71 Clubs in the EFL. “We remain open to continuing the conversations with the preferred bidders and the Administrators to try and find a solution that can see Sheffield Wednesday continue as a member of the League.” #SWFC

Royal Navy major combatants status.

Dejphon Chansiri was due around £15m from the sale of Sheffield Wednesday if the James Bord consortium followed through with their offer. However, it's now likely Chansiri will receive around £1m due to the reduced bids now potentially on the table. (Via: @reluctantnicko)
