SpaceTech is planning on making the centering rings and fins this weekend. I still need to get some stuff before we complete the engine section of Booster 7.

Introducing Vortex-1 Booster 7 "Horizon". This booster will be flying on the next flight! Still waiting on its printed segments. This launch will take off no earlier than August 1st.

@Miss1onControl Its Probably becausr they found issues with the other engines after inspecting the booster after the abort that weren't visible from data from the rocket after the abort.

August: V1-2 (Vortex-1), Payload bay test (Vortex-0)
Could be more added with payloads if people are interested in flying a payload on our rocket!

Triple Header Launch schedule! Launch 1: CP-14 Mission 2 with @BrazosAerospace Booster 8 will fly. Launch 2: Vortex-0 2-Stage flight test. S5 will fly. Launch 3: On board Camera demo flight: Booster 8 will fly again. Launching a GoPro as the primary payload.

@booster_10 They could, but that would require the ship to face the other way on the chopsticks. Which I dont know if they can do but probably can.

@SpaceTechrocket I see nothing stopping them from just having the ship face the opposite way it normally does while on a hypothetical adaptor.

I wonder if SpaceX will ever build a Ship adapter for the Pad 2 launch mount design?
Hopefully they'll never have to though.

Booster 7s engine section will be completely redesigned to be able to hold the larger engine going to fly on flight 2. Most likely targeting September for flight.

Starship 13 failed to launch after a fault was detected at main engine start. Block 30 Superheavy and Starship appear to be undamaged.
In 2026, SpaceX has had one Starship launch, losing Superheavy on descent after several engines failed to restart. The FAA mandated a launch hold after the incident.
The program is woefully behind schedule, with a moon landing now delayed to 2028. In another 11 months, that timeline will slip away.

@smolship1 @starshipprojec Based off of what smolship said and my previous rockets you may want to switch filament. There are filaments that are much more heat resistant. The ABS on Booster 8 held up better after 2 flights on a D engine than 2 firings on a test article with a c engine.

@starshipprojec doesnt take much heat at all to mess with PLA, SN3 saw that on HOP1
